Keith Bogans continues to start despite resistance from Bulls fans. Last night the Bulls defeated Milwaukee 92-83, Bogans was 0 for 2 (both 3-point attempts) finishing with zero points. He did get 1 rebound, 1 assist and 1 block, finishing with a -6 over/under in 14:19 of play. One commentator remarked that Bogans continues to start because he does all of the “intangibles” like defense and hustle, things that should be revealed in his over/under.

Tayshaun Prince’s Pistons defeated Daniel Orton’s Magic 103-96, although Orton is still not playing. Prince shot 9 of 14 (64%) from the field, 1 of 2 from the line for 20 points total. He finished with 6 assists, 3 rebounds, a block and a steal in 33:13 minutes of play. Prince achieved a +17 over/under and received Player of the Game accolades.

Chuck Hayes and Patrick Patterson helped the Rockets get a win over Minnesota, 129-125. The “Chuck-Wagon” shot 4 of 7 (57%) from the field and made his only free throw attempt for 9 points total. He also nabbed 8 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal and a block in over 40 minutes of play. Hayes finished with a +10 over/under.

Patterson is still seeing limited playing time. He had zero points and a rebound in his 4:10 of play last night, finishing with a -2 over/under. You can’t help but wonder if he’s still recovering from his respiratory illness.

Philadelphia (Jodie Meeks) defeated Phoenix by 10 points (105-95). Meeks had another off-night shooting, hitting only 2 of 5 from the field (1 of 4 from 3-pt), but he did make all four of his free-throws to finish with 9 points on the night. He rounded out his stat line with 4 rebounds, 2 steals and an assist in 26:25 of play for a -13 over/under.

DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings came away with a win last night over Portland 96-81. Cousins went 6 of 9 from the field (67%) and 2 of 4 from the line for 14 points total. He nabbed 8 rebounds and 2 assists before fouling out after 14:51 of play.

John Wall was the other Cat to finish with Player of the Game accolades in the Wizards’ loss to New York 115-106. Wall shot 5 of 13 (38%), but hit 7 of 8 from the charity stripe for 18 points on the night. He finished out his stat line with 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 steals – succumbing to a -23 over/under (ouch).
