Jamaal Magloire is the lone former-cat left in the playoffs (of course, this is the championship now). Miami defeated Dallas 92-84 in Miami to take game one of the series. Unfortunately Magloire did not play; however Dirk Nowitzki, who we now know would have gone to UK and may be making an appearance in Lexington sometime, scored 27 for the Mavericks. Nowitzki tore a tendon in his left had during the game, so if you are a betting person, this might be a good time to place your money on the Heat and let it ride.
