Rajon Rondo and the Celtics dropped a rare game to Eric Bledsoe and the Clippers, 108-103. Rondo scored 13 points on 6 of 15 shooting (1 of 2 free throws). He was one assist shy of a double-double as he finished with 9 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals in over 40 minutes of play.
Eric Bledsoe came off the bench for 7 points. He shot 3 of 6 from the field (1 from downtown), and ended up with 3 rebounds, 2 assists and a block (I love to watch Bledsoe block shots, his vertical is amazing).
Nazr Mohammed helped Oklahoma City defeat Jodie Meeks and the Sixers, 110-105. Mohammed had 4 of 5 shooting (that’s 80%) and 6 rebounds in nearly 20 minutes as a starter.
Jodie Meeks finished with 17 points for the Sixers on 7 of 13 shooting (3 of 8 from long range). He played 42 minutes and nabbed 7 rebounds and 2 steals as a starter.
Keith Bogans and Chicago won handily over Charlotte, 101-84. Bogans continues to struggle as a starter, last night having only 1 point from a free-throw (he missed both attempts from the field). His only other stats were a blocked shot and a rebound.
Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons lost to San Antonio 111-104. Prince shot only 7 of 20 from the field (35%) and 2 of 3 from the line. He tallied 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 37:06 of play.
DeMarcus Cousins and the Kings dropped another one to Daniel Orton’s Magic, 106-102 (Orton did not play). Cousins was Player of the Game again, gathering 29 points on 8 of 16 shooting. His stat line concluded with 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists – as well as a +3 over/under in 35:56 of play.
