Chuck Hayes and Patrick Patterson lifted the Rockets over Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons, 108-100. Hayes saw only 15:14 of play, but shot 4 of 7 for 8 points total. He also snagged 8 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.
Patrick Patterson was the big story of the evening, earning Player of the Game kudos off the bench. Patterson was 8 of 11 from the field (73%) and 4 of 5 from the line for 20 points overall. His 5 rebounds, 2 blocks and 1 assist helped him achieve a +11 over/under in 21:31 of play.
Tayshaun Prince had one of the worst games of his career against his fellow UK alum. Prince shot an abysmal 0 of 9 from the field, making 1 of his 2 free throw attempts for 1 point for the night. His only other stats were 3 assists and a rebound in nearly 30 minutes of play.
