Tayshaun Prince and the Pistons dropped one to San Antonio, 100-89. Prince played less than 30 minutes, shooting only 5 of 15 from the field and 1 of 5 (ouch) from the line for 12 points total. He did add 5 rebounds and 2 assists, but sank to a -15 over/under.
Chuck Hayes and Patrick Patterson couldn’t lift Houston over Minnesota as the Rockets lost 112-108. Hayes was 50% from the field (5 of 10), missing both free-throw attempts for 10 points on the night. He did manage a double-double though, with 13 rebounds, 5 steals, 4 assists and a +2 over/under in 35:57 of play. Patterson did not play – coach’s decision.
Eric Bledsoe’s Clippers fell to Daniel Orton’s Magic, 101-85. Bledsoe went 1 of 2 shooting and 2 of 3 from the charity stripe for 4 points total. He finished with 4 assists, a rebound and a steal. Orton did not play.
Miami beat Indiana 117-112, but Jamaal Magloire did not play.
Philadelphia (Jodie Meeks) spanked Atlanta 117-83. Meeks shot 5 of 11 from the field (sinking 2 from long range) and made 4 of 5 free throws for 16 points overall. He added 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals for a remarkable +27 over/under.
John Wall did not play last night, he was busy being the ‘Y’ at the Kentucky-Tennessee game.
