NBA Draft Great Recruiting Tool for Calipari

Mike DeCourcy of SI.com answers 5 questions and one of them is about John Calipari’s NBA Draft success.

The question is “Do you expect Calipari to repeat Kentucky’s draft success of 2012?”

Whatever coach John Calipari says in trying to differentiate his program from others, it’s more important that Kentucky repeat next April. Isn’t it? When Calipari says draft night is the most important night for Kentucky, what he means is each of those processions leads to future success for the Wildcats. Prospects see their predecessors getting drafted in record numbers and figure it can happen for them.

Whatever happens in regards to repeating as champions or setting another draft standard, one thing’s for certain: Calipari again will be in the NBA Draft green room and a guest at two or three players’ tables. At least.
