Chris Low over at ESPN agrees with the Big Blue Nation. Randall Cobb should be a Heisman contender.
Reality is, he won’t be, at least not this year. Kentucky will not win enough games to place his name on the list. A unwritten rule that I have yet to understand.

The Heisman is about honoring the best player in the country. The award itself reads “The outstanding college football player whose performance best exhibits the pursuit of excellence with integrity.”
Here is what Chris Low had to say about Randall Cobb:
Kentucky receiver Randall Cobb: The reality is that Kentucky’s not going to win enough games for Cobb to win the Heisman Trophy. But if you watched his performance last Saturday in the 37-34 loss to Auburn, tell me why he shouldn’t be a legitimate candidate. He’s a great football player who embodies what this award is supposed to be about. I mean, he scores touchdowns with the same ease that most of us crank up our cars every morning.
Mr Everything is exactly that for the Wildcats, rushing out of the Wildcobb, passing from the WildCobb, returning punts and kickoffs, holding for extra points and field goals and his main position, receiving.
Go Cats!!!
