There has been a lot of discussion this week about the final destination of DeAndre Daniels. He was committed to Texas, then he decommitted. He visited Kentucky, then he didn’t visit North Carolina State. He is going to visit Texas again, and now there are people saying Kansas is in the lead. Who knows what DeAndre Daniels is thinking? Of course I threw myself into this mess saying sources are saying he will end up at Kentucky. I will stick by my sources, but at the time he probably was coming to Lexington. Heck, he probably still is. I just don’t think DeAndre Daniels knows it yet.

[*]If you haven’t got a chance to read the article about Doron Lamb by the Courier Journal’s Brett Dawson you should check it out. It gives you great insight on Lamb and playing basketball in New York City.
[*]Anthony Davis played on ESPNU yesterday(15 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks, 4 steals) and I couldn’t believe how bad his high school team was. He could have shot it everytime and no one would have blamed him, but he was unselfish throughout the game and tried to get his teammates involved. The only thing his teammates should have been involved in was maybe a book club. I thought Davis rebounded very well and was deadly from 15-18 feet. He also blocked several shots. I love Davis, but playing on that team will not help him win Player of the Year.
[*]Kentucky hired Steve Pardue yesterday as their running backs coach. If you don’t know who that is, he was the high school football coach at LaGrange, GA where the recruiting pipeline for Joker has been hot over the years.
[*]Rajon Rondo is out for 2 weeks with an ankle injury, but it didn’t bother the Celtics last night as they beat the Hawks by 12.
[*]I taped another Cat’s Corner for WYMT last night and it will be on Sports Overtime tonight around Midnight. The show starts at 11:30 with all of the Mountain basketball highlights.
[*]Perry Ellis will be narrowing his list down today to 5 or 6 schools.
[*]UK recruit Trevor Lacey’s Butler HS team, who is #1 in Class 4A, plays the #1 team in 6A Homewood tonight in Alabama.
[*]I will be in Lexington tomorrow for the UK Hoops game vs. Alabama A&M at 2pm and the Cats vs. Mississippi Valley State at 8pm. Check out the live chats for both and hopefully a live feed for the MVS game. Have a great day and stay safe. Go Cats!
