It’s been a few weeks (longer than normal) since the last rotten rumor was spread about the Wildcats. Today, another rumor is posted that allegedly involves Kentucky and 3 other schools being investigated by the NCAA for their association with Josh Selby during his recruitment. The other schools include Kansas, who Selby has committed to, North Carolina and Tennessee. [PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
In this rumor which cites “a person close to the investigation”, Kent Sterling posts:

We know that the NCAA is taking a long look into the recruiting of rivals.com #1 recruit Josh Selby, and his relationship with Carmelo Anthony’s business manager Robert Frazier.
What is new is that investigation stretches beyond Bill Self, Selby, KU and Frazier. It includes the basketball programs at North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and their relationships during the recruiting process with Frazier and Selby. This is according to a person close to the investigation.
At some point, the arrogance of the crooks and pimps in college hoops will cause the whole mess to unravel, and this allegedly sordid business with Selby might hasten that process.[/quote]
That is all we know about the story right now. It sounds like another rumor but this time one that is geared more at a few programs with a little dig on the kid, unlike the recent Sun-Times saga which seemed more geared at destroying a kid. The second downfall to this story is it was posted by Kent Sterling…
And don’t worry Kent, we already have screen shots of the story as posted just in case your considering editing the content.
