Added to the roster were linebacker Micah Johnson of Kentucky and quarterback Riley Skinner of Wake Forest. Another quarterback, Dominic Randolph of Holy Cross, was waived.
In four years at Kentucky, Johnson, 6-1 and 262 pounds, played in 49 games with 25 starts and registered 285 tackles (161 solo), 3.5 sacks and 23.5 stops for losses of 54 yards. He intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown, and deflected nine throws. Johnson forced three fumbles and recovered another. He also rushed for a touchdown in 2006.
Last season, Johnson was a second-team All-SEC selection by the league’s coaches. Despite playing much of the season with a strained MCL – an injury he aggravated late in the Music City Bowl vs. Clemson – Johnson led the team and was fifth in the Southeastern Conference with 105 tackles (51 solo), a sack and 6.5 stops for losses of 15 yards.
In his final two years at Fort Campbell High School in Kentucky, Johnson rushed for 2,543 yards and 46 touchdowns and tallied 293 tackles. He was born on June 22, 1988.

I am glad Micah has found a NFL home. He will be missed as a key piece to the Wildcat defense.
