Matt Roark Sentenced To House Arrest

Matt Roark may have served his time with Joker Phillips after sitting out last weeks game against Mississippi State, but he still had to face the music in the court room.

[LEFT][COLOR=#000000]A University of Kentucky football player was sentenced Friday to four days’ house arrest and given a 45-day license suspension after pleading guilty to driving under the influence.

A charge of driving without insurance was dismissed after Matt Roark, a junior wide receiver, produced proof of insurance at court, according to court documents.Roark, 20, was arrested on Oct. 24 after crashing into a parked car on Wood Valley Court. He failed field sobriety tests had a .192 blood alcohol level, according to court documents. The legal limit for drivers is .08.
