It’s often difficult to find that special someone who truly understands your passion for the CATS. If you find someone who understands or shares your passion, you should probably follow the lead of Brad Clem and ask her to marry you.
The first half was coming to a close and I was getting ready to head to the concession stand when I noticed everyone in my section and the neighboring section looking at something next to me.

At first I thought it may have been some crazy Akron fan that had a little too much “fun” tailgating before the game, but it wasn’t. It was Brad Clem proposing to Melissa Spalding… and she said YES!
Brad went down to one knee right there in section 143. He pulled out a little white box and the crowd went nuts (t[I]he pic above is immediately after he popped the question[/I]). It was definitely a great move by Brad and probably the most exciting thing that happened in the first half.
Please take a second to congratulate Melissa and Brad (make a comment). I’m sure they’ll be checking out this post, so let’s make it something for the scrap book 😉
