Marquis Teague – The Future Of Kentucky Basketball

Hands down, Marquis Teague is the best point guard in the Class of 2011. Both Scout and Rivals have him ranked No. 1 at the position.

So it’s no surprise that Teague is headed South to Lexington. John Calipari is known for landing the top Point Guards in the nation… Rose, Evans and some guy name John Wall round out his latest tandem.

In 2010 he landed future NCAA and NBA super star, and 4.0 student, Brandon Knight, another highly probable one and done. Knight comes in as only one of three back to back winners of the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award. The other two, Greg Oden and LeBron James.

For Marquis, it doesn’t hurt that his brother, Atlanta Hawks point guard Jeff Teague, knows a thing or two about playing ball. Marquis still has one more year left of high school before he heads to the land of the Big Blue Nation in Lexington, so let’s check out what the 6-2 floor general has been up to this Summer while playing with the Spiece Indy Heat.
