BluegrassHoops had the chance to speak with Marquis Teague last weekend at adidas Nations, and he had a lot of good things to say about the team and university.
[HR][/HR]BluegrassHoops.com caught up with Marquis Teague, the top point guard in the class of 2011 and an incoming freshman at the University of Kentucky. Though the school year hasn’t started, Teague said he is enjoying the college experience.
“All the fans up there are great,” he told Bluegrass Hoops. “It’s great to see the support we have.”
Teague also said that his short time at college has been beneficial for his game.
“My strength is the thing that has improved most,” Teague said. “I got a lot stronger in the weight room and I’m in a lot better shape.”
With point guard Brandon Knight in the NBA, Teague said he has big shoes to fill as leader of the team.
