[B]Vandy fans pre-game ritual….[/B]
Kentucky takes on Vanderbilt at 4PM today. The CATS need to be focused and ready to go. This Vanderbilt team is good and currently in first place in the SEC. The game will be carried on ESPN and we should all be happy about that. Anything besides the “SEC Network” would be a good thing.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]When UK takes the floor Saturday afternoon, I will be very curious to see how focused they will be. This Vanderbilt team is a very good team and if we get out hustled like we did on Tuesday, we could be looking at our second straight loss. Now don’t get me wrong, I believe UK is going to win this game and they should, but failure to rebound will put us in a situation we don’t want to be in.
Vanderbilt has four players scoring in double figures and their overall game stats looks a lot like ours. Where do we have the advantage? It’s only in one area,…Rebounding. So as you watch the game, pay attention to hustle plays. The long rebounds that end up being anyone’s ball. Coach Calipari calls these 50/50 balls.

Now let’s take a second to talk about the Crazy fans that made a few negative post on Patterson’s and Cousins facebook wall. I couldn’t believe that some of our fan base is crazy enough to do that. Your posting negative comments on the wall of a 19 year old who is just going to school and playing basketball. It makes me wonder what those fans would do if someone left negative comments on the Wall of their kids.
I’m all for saying it how it is, but leaving comments on a facebook wall is crossing the line. After I thought about it for a while, I started to wonder if our team should even have individual facebook pages. I agree that they should be able to have them, but considering their celebrity in the state and the fact that these guys are still growing up, I really think they should hand them over to someone to moderate for them.
