Let’s Review for the “100”th Time

The Kentucky Wildcats played with a lot of energy and focus during the first round of the NCAA tournament and, at least for now, erased any question regarding their mindset going into the NCAA Tournament. They even did what they haven’t done for much of the year, continued to play hard even with a big lead. That effort is what led to the Cats reaching the century mark; the only team to do so in the first day on round 1. It was the 4th time the Wildcats reached 100 this year.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

Wake Forest also won yesterday, defeating Texas 81-80 setting up the Wildcats 2nd round game which will be played on Saturday with a scheduled tip of 8:15pm. If Eric Bledsoe can continue the shooting streak he was on last night, there is no doubt a deep run will be made by the Wildcats. Bledsoe was 8-9 from 3-point land and scored a career high 29 points. He also had 4 steals and 3 rebounds, all in just 31 minutes.
