Kings Will Not Trade Cousins

With his most recent on and off court attitude issues, some had speculated that DeMarcus Cousins could be traded.

The most recent trading rumor was that the Rockets were looking to move Yao Ming in exchange for DeMarcus Cousins and one other player from the Kings.

Kings owner Joe Maloof dismissed that speculation.

“We’re not trading him,” he said. “He has too much talent. He’ll grow out of this thing. What he’s going through is nothing serious. It’s just growing pains.

“But the guy has a lot of talent. You can’t find big men with that kind of talent in the NBA.”

Cousins had a great game against the Memphis Grizzlies, coming off the bench, scoring 21 points and grabbing 16 boards in 36 minutes.

Here at the Big Blue Nation, we know the positives that “Boogie” is capable of, on and off the court. As he matures, you can only expect his game to mature with him.
