The final game for the Kentucky Wildcats regular season has been scheduled for 12:21pm. The early kickoff time isn’t the most desirable as most fans would prefer a later afternoon game (that get’s more coverage). But, it is what it is and we’ll look forward to an early day in two Saturday’s.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
This is really the game of the season for the Wildcats and first year head coach Joker Phillips. After getting to a dismal 4-5 record a few weeks ago, the Wildcats and fans all around Big Blue Nation looked to the final 3 games to determine how the season would be judged. Mike Hartline changed opinions. Randall Cobb was still Mister Everything. But the Wildcats weren’t winning and began to receive much criticism.
Going into the Charleston Southern game, most fans looked for the team to redefine their season with the 3 final games. CSU was a gimme if there ever was one. No one expected Vandy to put up much of a fight and the Wildcats exited Commonwealth for the final time this year with a win against them. That leaves us with Tennessee.
Kentucky vs. Tennessee kicks off on November 27, 2010 at 12:21pm in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is the game, the one we need to win. Let’s hear it for 7-5 going into a bowl game. GO BIG BLUE!
