Kemba Walker has been a one man show for UCONN this year. Kemba dominated the second half of their first round game against Wichita State scoring 29 of his 31 points. He scored 30 points against Michigan State including a clinching jump shot in the last minute of the game. Kemba Walker is a proven force who will have to be stopped for the Wildcats to win tonight. And Coach Cal knows it.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]Kentucky Coach John Calipari said “I usually see a guy and say let’s go with him. I missed it with Kemba and I’ll admit it. I told him that.” Now Coach Cal has to figure out how to stop him. Who on the Kentucky team can do it? DeAndre Liggins?
Liggins did the job against Isaiah Thomas in the Wildcats win against the Huskies. His length and never ending aggressive play held the Huskie in check. Not to mention he gave a few offensive sparks too.
Tonight it is the Kentucky Wildcats vs. Kemba Walker. Tonight, the Wildcats will have to have an answer for him or we will leave Maui as the runner-up.
