Mike Hilton of Sandy Creek High School recently gained two new SEC offers. While Kentucky still hangs around in the top three, he added two Mississippi schools in Ole Miss and Mississippi State. But, for Kentucky, Hilton did not get a chance to visit the ‘Cats after coming out with a new top 3.
Last night many people were in anticipation, waiting to see the great skills of the Georgia athlete in the drills. But they soon found out that he was only on a unofficial visit and not competing in the skills camp.
Although he did not compete, Hilton still came back with good reviews. “It was a good visit. They (Kentucky) are up there with Ole Miss now.”
Hilton is not ready to come to a decision yet, but the ‘Cats definitely gained a lot of ground on the Mississippi schools.
Hilton was not the only one from Sandy Creek that was on the Kentucky campus. Teammate and rumored package deal offensive lineman Will Adams was also in Lexington.
“I liked the campus and the coaching staff.” Hilton added in a text about the ‘Cats visit.
Coach Tee Martin has already impressed both Adams and Hilton. The two teammates continued to leave high remarks about the coaching staff and the programs moving forward.
Hilton also had a chance to talk with Coach (Joker) Phillips.
“I had a talk with Coach Phillips. He told me he is happy that I have a lot of interest in Kentucky and they want me up there to help them win.”
Hilton is still a high man on the board for the ‘Cats and has the potential to bring a lot of upside with him.
