The Kentucky Wildcats picked up a convincing 76-68 win over No. 13 Florida this afternoon at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
The No. 22 Wildcats (20-8, 8-6 SEC) were led by a career-high 24 points from junior Darius Miller. Brandon Knight added 16 points and 6 assists. Doron Lamb contributed 14 points on 6-9 shooting.
Josh Harrellson put in 6 points and 12 rebounds for Kentucky, who won the overall battle on the glass 32-29.
Chandler Parsons had 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the Gators (22-6, 11-3). Kenny Boynton led the way with 21 points.
For the game, Kentucky hit 30-58 (51.7%) shots, including 7-14 (50%) from long range. Florida was 25-56 (44.6%) from the field.
The win was John Calipari’s 500th career win. He has not lost in Rupp Arena since taking over the program.
Kentucky returns to action Tuesday night when they host No. 18 Vanderbilt at 9:00 p.m ET and close the regular season portion of the schedule next Sunday at Tennessee.
