Kentucky Wildcats Basketball Yearbook Takes 1st Place


What else are we going to talk about today, the NBA draft? Sheesh…

The 2009-2010 Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball Yearbook took 1st place being named “Best Special Event Program in the Nation” in the 2009-10 College Sports Information Directors of America Publications Contest. Hey, UK fans get excited over their program winning anything so we wanted to make sure you had your chance to celebrate this too.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]

[quote]The 208-page publication was written and edited by Associate Athletic Director for Media Relations DeWayne Peevy and Assistant Director for Media Relations John Hayden and designed by Publications Director Craig Hornberger. UK Athletics photographer David Coyle and his staff provided the photos.

Kentucky was voted third nationally in the category last year, while winning “Best Cover”.

The Special Programs category is for publications that are produced for special events and intended for sale or distribution to the general public.[/quote]
