Kentucky / Tennessee Preview Part 3: Where to Watch

The #2 ranked Kentucky Wildcats(16-1, 2-0 in SEC) travel to Knoxville to play Tennessee(8-8, 1-1 in SEC) in a big SEC East matchup today at 12pm on ESPN.

Today’s announcers will be Brad Nessler and Jimmy Dykes.

Kentucky is favored by 10 points.

Kentucky owns a 146-66 record in the all time series with the Volunteers. The Cats have won 3 straight in the series and six of the last seven. UK has won 17 of the last 21 meetings.

Exactly 62 years ago, on Jan. 14, 1950, an unranked Tennessee squad defeated second-ranked Kentucky 66-53 in Knoxville.

UK is 61-1 under John Calipari when holding an opponent to 67 points or fewer.

The Vols have faced the Kentucky when the Wildcats were ranked No. 2 in the AP Poll 19 times. The Wildcats own a 13-6 edge in those games, but the Vols have a 5-4 edge in Knoxville.

Anthony Davis currently has 78 blocks, 5 behind the single-season record of 83 set by Andre Riddick and Melvin Turpin.

Tennessee is riding a 5 game home winning streak at Thompson-Boling Arena, their most recent win was over No. 13 Florida, a 67-56 win on Jan. 7th.

The game will be televised on ESPN and can be seen online on ESPN3, Firstrowsports.tv, and I am sure Nation of Blue.com will have a live stream and chat.
