In a continued showing of poor faith in the football program, the University of Kentucky has returned a huge portion of their ticket allotment for the Louisville football game on Labor Day weekend.
The University of Louisville is offering 2,060 single-game tickets for the opening game against Kentucky for sale on Wednesday at 10 a.m. for Cardinal football season-ticket holders only.
UofL will face the Wildcats on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 3:30 p.m. in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.
The tickets were returned last week by Kentucky from their fan allotment of 5,500 for the game.
With only 37,000 season tickets being sold for the season, and now returning over half of the allotment for a rivalry game, I believe it puts more pressure on Joker to win games to put fans in seats.
Could you imagine Kentucky ever returning tickets for basketball?
