Some Kentucky Wildcat recruits are in action this weekend, including Michael Gilchrist and Anthony Davis. Davis was on tap last night and didn’t disappoint. Despite shooting 6-11 from the free throw line, Davis scored 32 points, had 18 rebounds and blocked 7 shots. Not a bad night if you ask me.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
After the game, Davis received a brief free throw shooting lesson from Coach Cal who was in attendance after his Wildcats offed LSU 82-44 on Saturday. “I have to work on my free throws. He told me to keep it chest high and follow through from there. I’ll work on it,” Anthony Davis said.
Davis is averaging 33 points, 17 rebounds and 6.5 blocks per game. “I just want to get better and whatever it is, I want to do it to help them win a national championship,” Davis said. “Me and Mike Gilchrist talk a lot and we keep saying we can’t wait to get there and help them get that eighth (National Championship) banner, if they don’t get it this year.”
