After a rough start, Kentucky leads Vanderbilt 37-22 at the half.
In a first half of runs, Kentucky got the best of the Commodores. UK started the half on a 5-0 run in the first 60 seconds. For the Cats the fast start quickly disappeared as they went stone cold from the floor and the Commodores had a layup party.

Vanderbilt had no answer for Kentucky’s defense as the Cats turned defense into offensive energy to fuel the late first half run. Kentucky dominated the boards, grabbing more offensive rebounds then total boards for the Commodores.
