Kentucky Fooball’s Junior Day was today and Joker Phillips has received his first 2 commitments of the 2012 class.

Kentucky All-Stater Josh Harris, a 6’2 185 pound running back and linebacker, was the first commitment of the 2012 class. Harris is also a standout on the basketball court for the Royals. Josh is a great athlete who led Mason during its 10-2 season in 2010 with 1,126 yards and 19 touchdowns rushing and also had five touchdown catches. He was all state as a linebacker where he led the Royals with 107 tackles.
The second commit of the day was Louisville Manual’s Thomas Chapman. Steve Jones of Cats Pause said that Chapman, a 6’4″ 295 pound defensive lineman, got a UK offer today – his first offer — and committed to Joker Phillips right then and there.
This is a good start for Joker’s 2012 class and you have to love when in state talent stays home.
