Kentucky Involved with JUCO Power Forward God’s Gift Achiuwa

Kentucky has been in contact with 2011 JUCO recruit God’s Gift Achiuwa, a 6-8 power forward from Erie Community College in Buffalo, New York.

UK assistant Orlando Antigua has been involved with Achiuwa.

Achiuwa on Wednesday was named the Region III male co-Athlete of the Week by the league office.

“So many schools are calling,” ECC coach Alex Nwora said. “He’s still looking at St. John’s, Cincinnati. Kentucky is calling.”
