Two of Kentucky’s committed 2011 recruits saw high school action last night in the KHSAA state baseball tournament.
Lexington Catholic’s [URL=”http://www.wildcatrecruits.com/playerProfile.php?Contact_ID=644&Recruit=Taylor-Martin”]Taylor Martin[/URL] suffered a 6-5 loss to Pleasure Ridge Park. He gave up 3 runs, 3 walks and 2 hbps (hit by pitch). Ouch. Martin was drafted by the Rockies in round 41 of this year’s MLB draft and has not yet declared whether he will sign or attend UK.

He gave up 7 runs, 5 walks and 2 hbps. Shepherd was drafted by the White Sox in round 41 of this year’s MLB draft and has not yet declared whether he will sign or attend UK.
