Karen Sypher has been sentenced to 87 months (7 years and 3 months) in prison following her extortion attempt on Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino.
Sypher will serve her time in federal prison. With good behavior, she will likely get out of prison in roughly 6 years and 2 months.
