Tonight Kansas State defeated Texas to leave Kentucky as the only unbeaten team. If Kentucky can take care of Arkansas on Saturday, they’re pretty much guaranteed the #1 Spot in next weeks AP/Coaches Polls.
You should expect to hear Coach Calipari play the whole thing down and say something like….”It doesn’t mean anything”, “what you do in the tournament is all that counts”, but for us lifetime UK fans, this is a milestone that marks a long and sometime painful journey back to the top of college basketball.
THIS IS KENTUCKY!! And we deserve to be the #1 team in the country!
