Terrence Jones had 17 points on 6-13 shooting to lead the Kentucky Wildcats to an 88-40 win over the Radford Highlanders.
The Cats got off to a quick start led by Jones but seemed to stall offensively midway through the first half.
Of course the score wasn’t indicative of the sloppy play as Kentucky led 45-14 at the half.
The Cats ended up shooting 50 percent for the game and a crisp 21-24 from the free throw line.
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was right behind Terrence, scoring 15 points, making all 8 of his free throw attempts.
Marquis Teague had a much improved game as he shot 6-8 from the field finishing with 13 points.
Anthony Davis had 12, Doron Lamb 10, Kyle Wiltjer had 9, and Darius Miller finished with 6.
Sam Malone had the most talked about basket after the game, as he finished with 2.
The Cats next play this Saturday vs. Portland, gametime at Rupp Arena is 7pm.
