Louisville Eastern star, [URL=”http://rivals.yahoo.com/kentucky/football/recruiting/player-Jon-Davis-99813;_ylt=Am.75PcGoOEu._H2RPZhn.EqsZB4″]Jon Davis[/URL] is expected to switch his commitment to Louisville over the upcoming weekend after his visit, according to InsidetheVille.com.
Davis is the first commit during the Joker Phillips era and is one of the biggest in-state recruits this season, as KentuckyPreps.com ranks Davis #3 behind Lamar Dawson & DaMarcus Smith.
The 3* athlete told The Courier-Journal that he was “still committed to Kentucky,” but he’s also looking at Illinois and Louisville.
This could be a huge pick up for Charlie Strong and the Cardinals and a setback for Joker Phillips and the Wildcats. Like I mentioned above, Davis was Joker’s first commitment, however many are still confident that Davis will still be a Wildcat after signing day.
