John Wall has High Expectations for Washington

Ever since John Wall was the #1 pick in 2009 there have been expectations for the point guard to turn things around for the Washington Wizards.

The Wizards have been one of the worst teams in the NBA and it sounds like Wall is trying to change that in the upcoming season.

Wall interviewed with Dime Magazine recently and as you can tell, the former Kentucky point guard has a ton of ambition for himself and his team.

You wanna make the playoffs, and get this city back to where they know they can be. When you have the playoffs, I heard how crazy it could be when everybody is wearing all white. That’s what I want to get to. I want to be the savior.”

Maybe it is resurrection time for Washington sports franchises.

The Nationals are one of the best teams in MLB, the Redskins have RG3, and with Wall sounding like he expects a turnaround, it could be a great time to be a sports fan in the nation’s capital.
