The head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats has received his share of bad publicity over the years. The talk about sneaky recruiting methods, being a farm for NBA prospects, grades and everything else under the sun. He’s even receiving some heat now about the comment he made during the NBA draft. Coach Cal can’t seem to catch a break with the press. One thing is for sure, he brings success to the court.

Like it or not, Coach Cal brought success to Kentucky this year. An NCAA Championship banner is the golden egg, we all agree with that but in just one year he brought the Regular Season SEC Championship and the SEC Title back to the bluegrass. He helped in the continued development of 5 young men who were selected in the first round of the NBA draft. And he has now brought in another top recruiting class for this upcoming season.
Say what you like about Coach Cal. All I hear is SUCCESS when I hear his name. Coach Cal is a great ambassador for Kentucky Basketball and I hope he’ll be with us for many years to come.
