Not sure if you’ve heard all the discussion this week about Jerry Jones and the little rant he went on while someone shot video of him with their cell phone. All week everyone has been going back and forth on whether it was appropriate to film someone without them knowing, in the middle of a night club and then place it on YouTube.
He’s obviously intoxicated and it seem she doesn’t have a filter when he’s partying it up (most of us don’t). He has some not so flattering things to say about Tim Tebow and Bill Parcel.
I personally don’t have a problem with it being on YouTube. Yes, I wold probably be very upset if it was me, but this is the world we live in and public figures need to be more responsible and accountable for their actions.
The main stream media has something to lose when covering a team or player. They could lose access to the team/player and then their at a huge disadvantage. In today’s world of twitter and facebook, each of us are part of the worlds greatest news organization. We can report the truth (as we see it) and it’s virtually impossible for a main stream media outlet to prevent you from getting your message out.
And this is why Jerry Jones got caught on video……
