Jarrod Steps In, Does His Part

Kentucky Wildcat walk on Jarrod Polson got some minutes last night against South Carolina. And not the normal minutes we’ve come to expect. Typically when the fan favorite enters the game, there are less than 2 minutes to play and his teammates have already secured the game with a 20+ point lead. Not last night.

With 9:44 left in the first half, Polson entered the game for Brandon Knight. After a 44 second stance, he was pulled but entered again for Jon Hood with 5:45 remain in the first. During his 3 minutes of play, Polson did his part and didn’t make any mistakes.

That’s what team mate Darius Miller said when asked if everyone did what was expected of them during the post game interviews. Coach Cal nodded in agreement.

Earlier this week Coach Cal suggested after good practices, Polson might get some playing time. Do you think we’ll see more of Polson in the future after last night’s mistake proof 3 minutes?
