The Cat’s Pause is reporting that Coach Calipari, who lost out on Mr. Basketball Elisha Justice, is now interested in Jarrod Polson. Polson was the electric point guard in this year’s Sweet 16 for West Jessamine, who many thought out played Justice when they were matched up against each other in the Sweet 16. Polson was my favorite player in the tournament and I enjoyed how he put his team on his back and carried them. Polson is a Sweet 16 legend and I hope everything works for him, wherever he goes.

Cal really does get how this state works, as you have to recruit a couple of in state guys to come in late and get the crowd fired up at the end of a blowout. Polson is supposed to play in a pick up game tomorrow and then if everything goes well he could possibly walk on. Cal also needs a practice point guard to push all of his one and dones. Good Luck Jarrod!
