Although there have been rumors that Kentucky is out of the running for Jarnell Stokes, he still lists them as a school he’s considering.
This morning he was instrumental in getting Memphis YOMCA to the finals at 4 PM today. The forward is a bit of a throw back player in the fact that he plays down on the block almost exclusively.
Most people believe that Stokes will eventually end up at Memphis, maybe Tennessee, but he will stay close to home. “I talk to Coach Pastner almost every day, so I know Memphis has something big in store for me,” he said.
We might have to chalk this one up as a victory for the student over the teacher.
