[FONT=Arial]Yesterday will go down as one of the top five sports days in my life. For those that don’t know already, I am a proud alum of [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Morehead[/FONT][FONT=Arial]State[/FONT][FONT=Arial]University[/FONT][FONT=Arial]. Before the [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Kentucky[/FONT][FONT=Arial] game yesterday, I told my friends that I would take just a two point win by [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Kentucky[/FONT][FONT=Arial] if somehow [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Morehead[/FONT][FONT=Arial]State[/FONT][FONT=Arial] would pull off the win. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]I was so nervous and excited at the end of yesterday’s game when Morehead was down two points that I could not watch. I resided at a location with a half and half mix of [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Kentucky[/FONT][FONT=Arial] and [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Louisville[/FONT][FONT=Arial] fans so when I heard the anger and groans coming from the [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Louisville[/FONT][FONT=Arial] side and excitement and cheers on the [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Kentucky[/FONT][FONT=Arial] side, I knew something huge had happened. Demonte Harper of MSU had hit a HUGE three, followed by Kenneth Faried and the block (yes [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Louisville[/FONT][FONT=Arial] fans, that was a good block) of a lifetime to seal the victory and the upset. [/FONT]
[FONT=Arial]Then all I needed was a [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Kentucky[/FONT][FONT=Arial] victory to finish off the day……[/FONT]

[FONT=Arial]Let me tell you, the basketball gods have some sense of humor. My wish was granted with a two point UK win and a [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Morehead [/FONT][FONT=Arial]State[/FONT][FONT=Arial] victory! I’ll take it because a win is a win, survive and advance is the theme of March. My two favorite college teams did just that yesterday and left me with a grin that I could not wipe off my face as I pranced around the city of [/FONT][FONT=Arial]Louisville[/FONT][FONT=Arial].[/FONT]
