While doing a piece for nationalhoopsreport.net on Isaiah Lewis I got the chance to talk to him about Kentucky.
When he first named his list he didn’t name Kentucky, but when I asked if he was no longer considering UK he replied ” No I am, I really like Kentucky, I talk to coach Cal a lot.”
While this is a good sign he also went on to mention that he thinks he will be going to the Phog for midnight madness with Brannen Greene, another talented guard in the class of 2013.
He also said that he has connected with Josh Pastner the most, so Kentucky has a lot of work to do if they want to land the talented NY native.
Lewis and Greene have talked a lot about possibly playing together and Josh Pastner is a tireless recruiter so Lewis’ recruitment should be highly contested all the way to the end.
Expect it to come down to Kansas, Memphis, and UK.
