The unraveling from Stansbury apparently comes from Coach Cal commenting on the Enes Kanter ruling that is in the lap of the NCAA clearinghouse. Calipari mentioned that he thought the NCAA was fair with their ruling on Dee Bost, who entered the draft and then withdrew after the deadline and therefore thinks the NCAA will be fair with Enes who he claims is an amateur. Rick Stansbury say’s that isn’t a fair comparison.[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]
“He’s not a pro,” Stansbury said. “… For any kind of comparison to be made, I don’t think Dee is a good one to make it on.”
“Everybody across the landscape of college basketball understands what that situation was,” Stansbury said. “Everybody is probably waiting to see (if) Kentucky gets something, is it because, with Kentucky, something’s maybe different than another school.”
If you ask me, I think Rick is still pissed about getting owned by John Wall last year (and beaten by UK twice).
