Three games in 38 hours. impressive, especially when you consider the Cats only had 8 Players for the majority of the three games series. From tip to completion, they looked better in every phase then I expected.
Game one started off with some defensive concerns, but Calipari’s Cats corrected it at halftime and walked away with a 95-62 blowout, led by Brandon Knight’s 31 points and Darius Miller’s double-double, 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Game two came less then 24 hours later against the Western Mustang’s. Once again the Cats were sharp across the board, blowing out Western 96-68, led by Brandon Knight’s first double-double, 17 points and 12 assists. Lamb led all scorers with 24 and the Cats placed five players in double figures.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]Game three came less then 12 hours after the win over Western and might have been the Cats most impressive game of the three. On less then 12 hours rest, 8 Wildcats suited up in the blue and gray practice uniforms and hit the court for a rematch with the Windsor Lancers. In a crushing defeat, UK blew out Windsor 104-75, once again led by Brandon Knight’s 27 points and 9 assists. Miller pitched in 24 points and 3 steals and shot an incredible 83.3% from the field. lamb had another excellent outing with 23 points and 3 boards.
