Every Sunday is a ritual for most of us. Mine started as a little boy in Eastern Kentucky and I still go through the same routine today. It starts with Sunday School/Church, Sunday dinner with the family and then the featured NFL game/games of the day. But before the football games, there was the UK basketball and football coaches show. It’s always been one of the most boring shows on TV and I’m still not sure why we watched. I mean, this show was so bad, not even Coach Cal could turn it around….right?
The days of watching our Coach sit in a chair and look extremely uncomfortable, while watching highlights of the game we just watched the previous day are over! Calipari has not only turned the basketball program around, he’s even improved the coaches show.
This years show is loaded with game highlights and behind the scenes video of the players over the previous weeks games. We even have a one on one interview that Calipari conducts himself. Guest have been Tony Delk, Scott Padgett and Wayne Turner.
