Harrison Twins Defeat Noel and Selden in Super Showcase

Last night was the finals for the Super Showcase, and featured four UK targets going head-to-head. The Houston Defenders (Aaron & Andrew Harrison) faced off against the much-hyped BABC (Nerlens Noel & Wayne Selden). The Defenders came away with the win in a low-scoring event, 55-45.

Both Harrison brothers have made their argument for which one is better this summer. In this particular game it was Aaron, who had 18 points (7 of 13 shooting) and 7 rebounds. Andrew was one basket away from a double-double though, with 8 points and 10 assists.

Nerlens Noel fouled out after 10 points, 3 rebounds and “officially” 2 blocks. I say “officially” because it seemed like he had more than that. I know one in particular looked clean to me and he was called for a foul, and another was called goal-tending that I thought looked clean as well. Still, Andrew Harrison said Noel was the “Best shot blocker he’s ever played against.”
