Kentucky struggled in the first half shooting 12-32 percent from the field and are down in Athens vs. the Georgia Bulldogs 41-30. Doron Lamb leads the Cats with 10 points off the bench with 4-7 shooting and 1-2 from the three.
Georiga is shooting 14-29 from the field for 48% from the field. The difference in the game is the Bulldogs are 11-12 from the free throw line, while the Cats are only 3-8 from the stripe.
Kentucky needs to step it up offensively and shoot better shots. Several times I thought they forced shots out of the offense and then wasn’t in position for the rebound to have a shot at second chance points.
Hopefully things change this half so it won’t be a total loss for the Big Blue Nation this weekend.
