Former Kentucky Wildcat Derrick Miller appeared in Elizabethtown’s 9th Circuit Court Tuesday for a disposition hearing stemming from a string of felony thefts related to a UK basketball ticket scam.
Miller allegedly sold basketball tickets to Hardin County citizens and then failed to deliver.
He has been charged with similar issues in about a dozen Kentucky counties.
The case has been delayed as Miller plans to hire a private attorney to defend him against the charges. He will appear again on August 10 for a status of counsel hearing.
He is facing up to five years in prison on each count in Hardin County.
