Alex Smith, Kentucky tight end [URL=”http://www.nationofblue.com/alex-smith-leaves-uk-football-team-6456/”]who was dismissed on April 5th[/URL], has decided to transfer to Ohio University.
[PRBREAK][/PRBREAK]Smith was a 3 star tight end from Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohiowho was originally committed to Cincinnati, then decommitted and committed to North Carolina.
Smith pulled the switch at the last minute and signed with the Kentucky Wildcats.
Smith was listed well down the depth chart this spring when he was dismissed from the team.
Smith will be eligible during the 2012 season.
