When Billy Donovan was at UK working as an assistant under Rick Pitino, we never knew about the body odor issues that he obviously has. As an assistant, your always sitting on the bench with your jacket on. As head coach, Donovan has revealed his puddles to homes nationwide. I guess Donovan isn’t a big believer in the saying “never let them see you sweat”.
Remember when many CAT fans were hoping Donovan would be the next head coach? Can you imagine UK’s coach having puddles like this? I don’t know about you, but I don’t want this to be the image of our coach. It just looks like the guy forgot to wear his deodorant. This embarrassing problem could have hung over our program for years.
I’m sure I’m no the only one who’s noticed this. It’s like this every game. Do you think he’s ever heard of a T-Shirt? He can’t be sweating so much that he’s soaking a t-shirt and his dress shirt!!
This could really have an impact on Florida’s recruiting in the future. A coach needs to get close to his players to really get his point across. Just think about it for a second…Do you think Demarcus Cousins would have been all smiles after Calipari gave him that noogie, if Calipari’s pit’s looked like this? I’m thinking Coach Cal may have found himself thrown into the third row.
I then have to wonder if he knows it’s there. Maybe he just doesn’t care? Are there other coaches that have the same “puddle” issue as Donavan? If so, there’s probably a support group for this kind of thing.
