After a scary slow start, the Cats turned up the heat on defense, ending the first half on a 16-4 run to take the lead by 1.
The second half was a continuation of the end of the first, Kentucky caught on fire and shut Penn down on defense. Knight led with 22 points, Harrellson with 11 boards, Darius Miller with 6 assists and Harrellson with 6 blocks.

Despite the numbers, this was a team win again as everyone pitched in, Liggins held Penn’s Zack Rosen to only 6 points. Rosen had scored 10 or more points 35 out of the last 36 games. Lamb pitched in with a critical 16 points and Jones had a very quiet 10 points and 8 rebounds.
